Last week Rowan’s Cub Scout pack had their blue and gold banquet, celebrating 102 years of scouting. A bunch of the scouts, including Rowan, also received their Tiger Badge, which they’ve spent the past few months working towards. I think the best part of the night for me though was watching all those little boys, dressed in their uniforms, cracking up at the Noise Guy’s shenanigans (which were lost on me, I must admit).
In the photo above Ro’s den is singing “If you’re a tiger and you know it show your claws”. There are a few more photos up on Flickr, including Rowan with his first Pinewood Derby car. He didn’t win the race this year, but learned lots of things he can do better for next year’s derby!
